Nonviolent Communication skills to make an even bigger impact.

However, many of them -- particularly people in African, Latin American, and Asian countries -- lack the financial resources to access NVC training that would enable them to contribute more to nonviolent social change in their communities.

By contributing to our Financial Assistance Fund, you can help to make it possible for people like this to attend one of our International Intensive Trainings (IITs) and strengthen their skills in peacemaking and collaborative problem solving.

The money donated to our Financial Assistance Fund will be be used to support participants from these countries, covering their tuition, often their accommodation, and when needed, their travel expenses.

We will prioritize giving financial assistance to people who are:

  • Actively collaborating with others in the Nonviolent Communication network
  • Poised to make an impact in areas such as in education, government, environmental sustainability, equity and inclusion, or with an NGO or community-based organization.
  • From a region that has fewer in-person NVC trainings.
  • Part of an economic system that offers less access to financial resources.
  • From a disadvantaged group (race, ethnicity, origin, religion, gender identity, class)

If you would like to help people gain access to this training and help them to bring more nonviolence and peace into their communities, please make a donation on this page! (tax-deductible for U.S. donors). Your donation of US $2,495 pays for the full tuition fee of an IIT participant. Imagine the difference you could make in someone's life. Upcoming trainings that you can contribute to include

Donation Types: You can make a one-time donation (the default setting = "Buy One Time"), or you can set up a recurring donation every three months (choose "Subscribe" -- you can end your donation at any time).

Who Decides?: Because we usually have more requests for financial assistance for each training than we have the resources for, a 3-person committee consisting of the Organizer, one of the Trainers, and a representative from CNVC will together decide who receives assistance (while applying the criteria described above).

Payment Confirmation: After you make your donation on the next page, you will receive an email that contains a receipt (invoice) for your records.

Alternative payment method: We prefer that you make your contribution on this page using a Credit Card or PayPal because it creates order and efficiency for us. However, if you do not have access to these payment methods, you can send us a bank transfer instead. Important: Include your name and the letters, "FAF" when you send the transfer because this is how we will know that the money is from you.
