"We've spent a lot of time talking about our differences, and now is the time to rediscover the connection between us."

Harmon Hao-Ming Chang is a Certified Trainer with the Center of Nonviolent Communication (CNVC), a life coach, and a business coach committed to helping clients achieve self-awareness and inner peace.

Holding a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Northwestern University, Harmon began his career as a software engineer before expanding into system analysis, international collaboration, industrial research, and market planning. His expertise in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) led him to become a creativity facilitator and trainer, where he developed and led innovation training programs and creativity facilitation workshops.

Harmon is an NLP Master Practitioner, a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) administrator, and has received training in Creative Problem Solving (CPS) and FourSight facilitation. He also obtained the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Harmon started exploring NVC in 2015 and soon realized that, among all his previous experiences and studies, NVC is the approach that truly made a difference—for both himself and others. As a result, he has been dedicated to studying and sharing NVC ever since. He plans to use NVC to help people understand their own needs, develop the ability to connect with themselves and others, heal inner wounds, and cultivate their personal empathy buddy within. This will be his lifelong mission.

“My mission is to help people understand their own needs, develop the ability to connect with themselves and others, heal inner wounds, and cultivate their personal empathy buddy within.”
