The principles of Dr Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication and Positive Education show how strong relationships are key to creating a positive culture which allows for deep learning for students and well-being for staff.
Topics covered include how to:
Create a shared language based on feelings and needs
Teach empathy skills to everyone
Develop a shared understanding about ‘how we do it here’
Develop non-punitive responses to manage mistakes humanely
Model trust, forgiveness and mutual responsibility
This one-day workshop will be interactive and activity-based with participants invited o use their own examples for practice. The workshop is for principals, teachers and support and administration staff.

Presenters Mother and daughter team Marg and Rachel have been living and learning NVC for over20 years. Marg has been a school principal for 12 years and is one of only 14 CNVC Trainers in Australia. Rachel is training for CNVC certification. Between them they have worked with schools, organisations and community groups to empower leaders to empower others.
