Alice Sheldon
I'm passionate about Needs Understanding, because it's the best tool I've found for bringing about individual change and for contributing to a world where everyone can thrive. It works in top boardrooms, school staff rooms, government departments, local activist organisations... everywhere.
My expertise is working with groups. I'm never happier than when I'm facilitating, teaching or speaking, and sharing the combination of the inspiration and the practical toolkit that is Needs Understanding.
I have been a secondary school teacher, a barrister and the Chief Exec of a national charity. I have an MA in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Oxford. I developed a model of partnership parenting, and for a decade worked with hundreds of fellow parents to create thriving relationships with their children.
This became the springboard for my creation of Needs Understanding with a partnership approach applied in all spheres of life. My book, 'Why weren't we taught this at school?' is published with Practical Inspiration Publishing.
