David Shindoll is a Center for Nonviolent Communication certified trainer and co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Compassionate Communication Network. David has spent more than twenty-five years creating environments for children based on mutual respect, empowerment, and compassion.

He is passionate about learning, living, and sharing practices and structures that transform the way we relate to others and ourselves. This way aligns with our deepest values ​​to achieve truth, contribution, and love.

An elementary school teacher, he has worked with children and their families for more than twenty-five years in diverse contexts, ranging from villages for abandoned children in Costa Rica to Montessori schools in Taiwan, Bolivia, and the United States. He is a language teacher-trainer at the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in the Denver, Colorado (USA) area, and currently works as an elementary educator in Denver schools, where he directs the home visiting program and is part of the teaching group that coordinates the dialogue on anti-racism in schools. David’s studies include Focusing, yoga, and meditation.
