Having started my NVC journey in 2015, I love to share the richness of this life- changing experience mostly with adults caring for children. Throughout the years, I stated a clear purpose which I define nowadays as “parenting for social change”.

I offer onsite and online communication programs and 1-1 support within private organizations, NGO’s, schools and with individuals under the roof of “Compassion in the Family” community which I initiated in 2016. My offerings vary from introductory events and webinars to thematic workshops and yearlong trainings. Since 2017, I have been offering the introductory workshop “Heart-Full Parenting,” which I co-created with Judy Bleil Saruhan, to adults working with children and since 2019 the long-term deepening program “Life Oriented Leadership”, created and being offered with Judy & Hülya Tosun, to general participants.

As a board member of the NVC Association in Turkey (SI-DER) for several years, I have been working actively in diverse projects with the intention to support the spreading of this awareness throughout Turkey. Currently, I’m working on creating and improving systems to contribute to the sustainability and wellbeing of our growing community. I also support the internal and external communications of SI-DER including its social media.

Getting fascinated by the diversity of NVC trainers from different cultures and teaching styles, alongside enriching my experience through attending various international NVC programs, I got mentoring support from Gabriele Grunt for several years, collaborated with Sura Hart and SI-DER members to prepare and launch the Turkish version of “The No Fault Zone” game and to organize a parenting workshop with her, worked with Yoram Mosenzon to share “Radical Honesty” in Turkey and served as a translator in several NVC trainings in Turkey, including the 2023 IIT.

I translated the new edition of “Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life”, "Raising Children Compassionately", "Getting Past the Pain Between Us", The Heart of Social Change", "Practical Spirituality" and "The Surprising Purpose of Anger" by Marshall B. Rosenberg; "Nonviolent Communication Companion Workbook" by Lucy Leu and "Choosing Peace" by John Kinyon and Ike Lasater into Turkish.

I am the consultant of the NVC based "Learning Partnership" Program, offered to teachers by "Another School Is Possible Association" since 2020.

Prior to my NVC journey, I have volunteered for NGOs like Nesin Foundation (an NGO to support children with few educational opportunities) and Small Projects Istanbul (an NGO to support families displaced by conflict).

Having a bachelor's and master's degree in Communication Studies from the University of Vienna and an associate's degree in psychology from the same university, I am a well experienced communications consultant with 11 years of corporate expertise in public relations.
