Lisa (Lih Jung) Kuang
I started to learn Nonviolent Communication in 2012, and since 2014, I started going abroad to participate in NVC workshops, and at the same time invited several CTs to do workshops in Taiwan. They have given me a lot of support as I learn and grow, and I am forever grateful for them.
In December 2014, I was in Japan for IIT and met Katherine Singer, an assessor, Impressively, a participant about 40 years old, about his relationship with his father invited Katherine to heal him for one night, and he was healed. I was amazed at the power of NVC at this moment, and at that time I was determined to become an member of CT.
I started sharing NVC in 2015, and I organize courses and workshops for schools, companies, education, consulting, parent-child, workplace, etc. I also invited foreign trainers for an online conversation to let more people know about NVC and the diversity of trainers. With Katherine's encouragement, I organized the first IIT in Taiwan in 2019 with 60 participants from all over Asia. And invited a teaching team composed of trainers such as Katherine Singer, Lucy Leu, Dian Killian, John Kinyon, Catherine Cadden, Jesse Wiens, etc.
After the Taiwan IIT ended, the participants successively established a number of active communities in different regions and fields in Taiwan. My vision is to connect the NVC community in Taiwan with different CTs from around the world, so that people here can be exposed to different perspectives on NVC and be inspired to find their own voice and method to bring NVC into the world. My dream is to have a vibrant and diverse community of NVC trainers in Taiwan.
“My mission is to have a vibrant and diverse community of NVC trainers in Taiwan.”
