Maria Hechenberger
I think it was in 2006, or just before, when I was in the meditation room, hanging on the lips of my teacher at the time, and I suddenly had this thought: "I want that!" I want to accompany people and make it possible for them to have these "aha" experiences that have been granted to me so many times on my path.
I want to be a part of their development and be allowed to witness how they grow, how treasures are recovered from conflicts, how freedom arises from constriction and relaxation follows. I want to see people breathe a sigh of relief and rejoice because a piece of the puzzle in their lives has been put back together. I want to guide them courageously through the fire, knowing that in my care the heat cannot harm them. That's what I want, and at the same time I want us to have fun and laughter... and then the book by Marshall Rosenberg flew into my hands.
After the first introductory course, I knew I wanted to be a trainer. Since then, I have been searching for my path, and every crossroads makes me richer in experience. It is these experiences that I try to make tangible in my seminars. That is all. There is nothing else.
Nonviolent Communication is for me a link, a bridge not only between individuals or between peoples, but also a bridge to integrate ancient spiritual traditions and wisdom into everyday life.
