Sarah Dekker
Sarah Dekker is a dedicated facilitator, coach, and therapeutic guide who has been on an extraordinary journey of healing and self-discovery. With a background as a certified Nonviolent Communication trainer and Internal Family Systems Practitioner, Sarah has honed her skills in creating a safe and supportive space for healing. Her extensive experience in mindfulness practices, breathwork, and bodywork allows her to skillfully navigate her clients through their inner landscapes.
In 2018, Sarah's life took an unexpected turn when she attended her first Ayahuasca ceremony. The experience brought her profound clarity and purpose, leading her to explore the healing potential of plant medicines further. Integrating these experiences into her therapeutic practice, she is now an ethical practitioner, prioritizing safety in her work with plant medicines, ensuring the right set and setting for her clients, and providing pre and post-ceremony support.
Sarah's passion lies in integrating Nonviolent Communication (NVC) with embodied spirituality. Her workshops offer practical ways to cultivate daily practices for authentic living, grounded in compassion for oneself and others. Her exploration of various modalities, such as Dyad meditation, Internal Family Systems, Mondo Zen, Gender Equity & Reconciliation training, Breathwork & Trauma Release Systems, and Enneagram, reflects her dedication to individual and collective trauma healing.
Apart from guiding others in their healing journeys and delving into her own subconscious, Sarah finds joy in meditation, immersing herself in nature, dancing, and cooking delicious meals. If you're interested in Sarah Dekker's approach to healing or want to schedule a consultation, don't hesitate to contact her.
“My mission is to create safe spaces for healing from painful past experiences and rediscovering the beautiful humans we truly are. I support people individually in one-on-one sessions and curate retreats together with my partner and fellow CNVC trainer Nic Burnand. We also hold an empathic space for people during psychedelic experiences, opening up new ways of relating to themselves and Life.”
