I was born and raised in Japan and only completed the NVC certification process in Japanese.
In Japan, I wanted to deepen my understanding of NVC, but only a few translations into Japanese were available, so with the help of many people and translation tools, I continued to learn from trainers overseas.

For more than 30 years, I have produced nine films in the GAIASYMPHONY documentary film series. As an independent film, the series has been an unprecedentedly long-running hit in Japan.
My curiosity about life has led me to continue learning about the mysterious mechanisms of the brain and mind, and I have regularly organized Restorative Dialogue Talking Circles and Empathy Circles and contributed to the NVC Global Festival Japan as a team leader. I also seek a life connected to plants and small life and cherish living in an old private house in a satoyama in Shinshu, practicing living connected to the earth.
