"For me NVC is a map and practical know -how for discovering beauty of a nonjudgmental mind and power of connection with myself and one another in the present moment"

I discovered NVC during my Peace and Conflict Master studies in the United States in 2008. For the first five years, I was merely focused on learning and using it as a method for constructive conflict resolution and facilitation of restorative dialogues in my mediator and peacebuilder work. Gradually, I started to experience NVC as a navigation system that applies daily mindfulness and compassion to my attitudes toward myself and others. Seeing more and more the choice I have and exercising it to take my energy out of the judgmental ego mind has been an essential part of my inner peace work.

Since 2004 I have been studying and practicing Iyengar yoga, J.D. Krishnamurti’s texts and Buddhist tranquil wisdom insight mediation with Bhante Vimalaramsi (dhammasukha.org) and NVC has been essential for bringing this spiritual journey into my daily interactions and relationships.

Since 2014 I have been sharing NVC with professional teams in public, private and NGO sector through development trainings on effective communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution. I also offer general NVC trainings, workshops and integrated mindfulness retreats of NVC, meditation and Iyengar yoga practices for wider public in Latvia and beyond.

Having worked in the field of criminal justice reforms, community policing and restorative justice in a country with young democracy practices prior discovering NVC has fostered my inclination to bring NVC to public sector, educational and health sector as these are areas that have long-term traditions of power over mindset, which impacts large amounts of people. I am also very passionate about working with NGO teams, creative industries and startups because their longevity is rather instantly linked with their ability to take care of their needs, effectively communicate and adjust their internal and external agreements.

My professional offerings are:
- Mediations and restorative dialogue processes for organizations and social conflict settings.
- Needs based trainings for organizations and management teams.
- General NVC trainings and thematic trainings for wider public.
- NVC practice groups.
- Individual consultations and training series for individuals 1:1.
- Retreats, workshops, and lectures.

Being first and only CNVC trainer in Latvia is an honor and great responsibility for me to continue sharing NVC with integrity and clarity, develop and nurture community and sustainable collaboration in Latvia, Baltics and beyond.

I look forward to collaborate and meet you beyond the right and wrong, geographic coordinates are secondary.
