Mari (Maria) Sakai
Certified Trainer since 2024
Mari (Maria) Sakai is a facilitator and a consultant who fosters resonance in individuals and organizations. After working at a major IT company as a system engineer and a project manager, she served as a staff contributing to process improvement, quality control, human resource development, business planning, and corporate strategy. Throughout her career, she has facilitated connections between clients and companies, as well as top management and employees.
In 2013, she discovered Nonviolent Communication (NVC) after reading Marshall Rosenberg's book. Since then, NVC has brought many gifts and support to her personal life. It has helped her stay connected to her own needs and empathize with others. During life's great setbacks, such as partnership difficulties, parenting challenges, and the loss of loved ones, NVC has given her the perseverance to rise again and gratitude for life.
In 2019, she founded her own business, Resonant Sign, to introduce NVC to companies. Her goal is to create workplaces where people can work vigorously with authenticity and make the world a better place together. As a facilitator, she strives to embody NVC consciousness and help organizations and companies build better-quality connections.
She is an enthusiastic learner and sincere practitioner, continuously learning and practicing Process Work as well as NVC. She is also a guide in developing Psychological Capital. She applies various modalities, including NVC, to her work to support individuals and organizations.
“My mission is to share NVC with people to help them connect with their authenticity and encourage them to believe in their own power to attend everyone's needs, especially in workplaces. As a trainer and guide, I support individuals, and as a facilitator, I help organizations and teams communicate more deeply and foster resonance.”
