Early as a five-year-old, I watched my parents in a conflict, shook my head inwardly and thought to myself: "Hmm, that doesn't help much." 30 years later, I realized that communication is not alone something personal, but as well something cultural or even historical. And I participate in this communication culture despite - or perhaps precisely because of - my high ideals!
In my first training with Marshall I was deeply intrigued by how our historical legacy shaped our communication and culture. It also became clear that organizational structures can have a weakening or strengthening effect on communication and action.
And it goes on: as an entire society, we are facing complex challenges. Can the usual forms of communication and decision-making do justice to the complexity and provide - timely - solutions?
With my enthusiasm for communication and participation on both a small and large scale, I would like help shape a culture in which conflicts and differences lead to creativity and solutions for the greater whole!

Schon als Fünfjähriger sah ich meine Eltern im Streit, schüttelte innerlich den Kopf und dachte mir: "Hmm, das hilft nicht viel." 30 Jahre später habe ich erkannt, dass Kommunikation nicht allein etwas Persönliches ist, sondern etwas Kulturelles oder gar Historisches. Und an dieser Kommunikationskultur nehme ich trotz - oder vielleicht gerade wegen - meiner hohen Ideale teil!
In meinem ersten Training mit Marshall war ich tief fasziniert davon, wie unser historisches Erbe unsere Kommunikation und Kultur prägt. Es wurde auch deutlich, dass Organisationsstrukturen eine schwächende oder stärkende Wirkung auf Kommunikation und Handeln haben können.
Und es geht weiter: Wir stehen als ganze Gesellschaft vor komplexen Herausforderungen. Können die gewohnten Formen der Kommunikation und Entscheidungsfindung der Komplexität gerecht werden und - zeitnahe - Lösungen bieten?
Mit meiner Begeisterung für Kommunikation und Partizipation im Kleinen wie im Großen möchte ich eine Kultur mitgestalten, in der Konflikte und Unterschiede zu Kreativität und Lösungen für das große Ganze führen!
