Join us for this special workshop designed to help you integrate the principles of Nonviolent Communication into the way you interact with yourself and others!

Most of us have been educated from birth to think and communicate in terms of what is “right” and “wrong” with people. We express our feelings in terms of what another person has “done to us.” We struggle to understand what we need, and how to effectively ask for what we need without using unhealthy demands, threats, or coercion. Through NVC, we learn to resolve conflicts with more ease. We learn to ask for what we want in a way that invites others to respond to us, and we begin to hear the real needs of others, including when they say No.

Learn how to:

* Identify and break unhelpful communication patterns

* Express feelings and needs without blame

* Make requests that invite collaboration, not conflict Build trust in all your relationships.

Request for Financial Contribution
Sliding Scale: $150-$300
Under 25 years: $75-$150

We recognize the challenge of being truly inclusive in a time of much domestic and global polarization, and want to welcome participants from less privileged and marginalized populations.

If you are under 25 or otherwise have limited access to resources, please choose the closest amount to the minimum requested you are able and willing to contribute, including below the minimum.

Our sliding scale supports our capacity to sustain our work and continue to serve. It also helps us include those without the financial resources to participate.

If you have the resources and willingness to do so, please consider contributing at the higher end of the scale and beyond.

If you need help with discernment please contact Tobe at (415) 812-3435,  [email protected]
