About the trainer:

Allan Rohlfs has been practicing and teaching empathic listening for over 50 years.  A student originally of Eugene Gendlin, he recently published a book on listening, When I Listen People Speak and Come Alive!   Not only is it the culmination of his decades of experience but it is the most comprehensive volume devoted solely to empathic listening in existence. Important in his work is directing attention to what one is listening to, which is the sense one has before words.
Allan is one of the First Generation NVCers. “First Generation NVCers are those who worked closely with NVC’s founder, Marshall Rosenberg, played roles in the early spread of NVC and the creation of CNVC.
