Forgiveness & NVC – Leon Levin

Forgiveness is a complex process and can vary from person to person, but many people experience it in stages. These stages often help a person work through their emotions and potentially reach a place of peace. Marshall once said, or maybe more than once, “If you can’t forgive yourself you’ll not be able to really empathize with another”. And he also said, more than a few times “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing poorly”. So, my advice is to empathize as much as you can with yourself and with others. In this session, we will collaboratively explore forgiveness, how we relate to it, and how it relates to Nonviolent Communication with a discussion and practice. Let’s explore!
